Yes it was a “Grand Recruitment Week” for new colleagues at Mandarin Oriental,
Our candidates were invited to visit the hotel for the second phase of the recruitment process and they were surprised to learn that they did not have to have an ‘interview’ but that they had to join fun and exciting activities instead, surprise surprise.
The key words were energy, intelligence and disposition as we wanted to meet the ‘real’ candidates and learn about their personality and not just their skills. Trying drawing when you are blindfolded or crossing a river full of crocodiles (not real!!) and then you will start to enjoy yourself and work as a team. (continued on page 2)
